Something yummy!

Step 1 - Prepare ingredients

Step 2 - Heat & Combine

Step 3 - Add rice bubbles

Step 4 - Mix

Step 5 - Spoon into patty pans

We are getting ready for a party tomorrow. It's a small{ish} party and I'm planning on setting up a picnic on a quilt in the lounge room for the little ones. They will be needing plenty of special party treats.

While I love the quintessential chocolate crackle, I'm not all that keen on that rich copha taste. My solution is to make mars bar slice in the shape of a crackle; something that we did a long time ago and somehow forgot about. The oversight has now been rectified.

In case you would like to partake in this easy peezy party treat...

combine 3 chopped up mars bars and 90 grams of butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir until melted and combined {tips: do not boil, and keep going until it looks like the second picture above, it takes a while}

Add 3 cups of rice bubbles and combine. Spoon into prepared patty pans and cool in the fridge until set. Enjoy!
