Hmn, my Octoberfest is now in serious jeopardy; I went to the Telstra shop today to change my landline account name. What they failed to tell me was that the mere act of changing a name field on their system meant that the line would be disconnected and reconnected (no doubt to justify some astronomical connection fee) and that although my home line would work fine throughout, my Internet, actually scrap that, Cam's Internet connection would be disconnected for 24 to 48 hours. Just to change a billing name field. Grrr! So as I'm now using Cam's i-phone, I think it will be easier to take a little blog break until telstra can reconnect my Internet service.
