We've had an exciting day today :: her last day of kinder :: giving of teachers gifts :: losing mia temporarily {again!} :: finding out who other kids prep teachers are :: and enjoying the kinder concert {where Daisy was relegated to Donkey, as her recent track record of stage fright excluded her from playing Mary}
I'm not sure that she would have even come out as 'Donkey', except that 'Mary' had a sure hand on her reigns and didn't give her any other option. She played her role well, but when afterwards when her teacher said it was carol time, she headed straight into the audience to sit on my lap. However, she was more than happy to join her class mates once again when the singing was done.
When we got home our letter was waiting, so now we know which teacher each of our children will have next year. Exciting times I tell you!!

I think Daisy's so photogenic, all your snaps of her are so appealing. New classes, yes, we got ours today too and finally some school joy - Ella got the 3/4 teacher she'd set her heart on. And it's a man, perhaps that will be a leveller to her, at times, over emotional side.
End of year is always filled with mixed feelings...Kinder concerts are the cutest events even if they are a little stage fright.
